=================================================================== Mijnheer de Redacteur. Gisteren avond over de Lindebrug (Steegoversloot) komende, struikelde ik over een der vele plankjes, die zeer onpraktisch zoo maar boven op de vroegere, min of meer verouderde planken zijn vastgespijkert. Het ongeval liep met een onbeduidende kneuzing af, doch ik had even zoo goed in plaats van rechtuit te vallen, met mijn hoofd tegen de ijzeren balie terecht kunnen komen en er dus minder voordeelig aan zijn toe geweest, of erger nog, als ik het ongeluk had gehad onder genoemde balie door te vallen, zou ik den verstikkingsdood hebben gestorven in een gracht, die alle beschrijving ver te boven gaat. In de hoop, dat de bevoegde macht notitie zal willen nemen van deze gevaarlijke plaats, blijf ik gaarne, Uw Dienaar, J. K. S.
